Team Jericho updates from Haiti

Continuing with the much needed humanitarian efforts, the UNITED SIKHS volunteers served 1200 meals yesterday in Haiti.  Booths were set up at two different sites where hot meals in form of langgar were distributed.

An email correspondence sent from Haiti detailed that the first booth went very well as it served hundreds of hungry Haitians.  The second booth was also successful however due to lack of time and safety concerns, the volunteers were not able to distribute all the meals.

Ever since the earthquake caused turmoil in Haiti, Sikh volunteers under the banner of UNITED SIKHS have taken up the efforts of helping the Haitians.  Some of the pictures from yesterday’s seva (selfless service) efforts are presented below.
