UNITED SIKHS volunteers have
successfully completed a four-week Computer Education course for immigrant
community on 21st of March 2004. UNITED SIKHS provided free
computer training to minorities and immigrant community as a part of their
“Advancement Through Information and Technology” (ATIT) project throughout
North America. Similar courses are
running in New York , New Jersey and Atlanta. Ravinder Singh Bhalla and Taptej Singh from Fremont reported that
approximately 16 students attended the four-week computer training. They are
expecting more students to join in next session, which shall commence in the
near future. The Gurdwara Sahib at Fremont has generously provided the
facilities to run UNITED SIKHS ATIT programs.
