Condemning Las Vegas Terror Attack, Sikhs Equipped to Help and Heal

UNITED SIKHS condemns the senseless act of terror that shook Las Vegas Sunday night. Described as the worst mass shooting in modern American history, a gunman open-fired on a crowd gathered for an outdoor country music festival. The gruesome episode has taken the lives of almost 60 people and has left more than 500 people injured.

Melbourne, Australia: In a landmark decision, the Victorian Administrative and Civil Tribunal (VCAT) ruled on Tuesday that 5 year old Sidhak Singh had been unlawfully discriminated by a Christian school that had refused to enrol him because he had unshorn hair and wore a patka, a head covering worn by Sikh children.

Across the country UNITED SIKHS is joining the US Sikh Community to rally for justice after two Sikh American men were shot dead in separate incidents in California. The bruised body of 68-year-old Subag Singh was found in a canal in Fresno last Monday. He'd been missing since June 23rd 2017.
