Britain's Royal Mail has apologised to an elderly Sikh living in Wolverhampton, a city in central England, for a racist comment made by one of its postmen in October.

Royal Mail apologises after postman allegedly makes racist comments

Karnail Singh, a Sikh man from Wolverhampton has been allegedly racially targeted by a Royal Mail postman. "Quick! Run! He has a bomb!" said the Royal Mail postman, to his colleague, as Mr Karnail Singh put his rucksack down, to grab his water bottle, reported UNITED SIKHS.
"We must end this senseless violence," said Congressman Ro Khanna, Democrat Congressman from 17th district California. In a statement, UNITED SIKHS condemned the "senseless act" of terror. Its volunteers have teamed with Gurdwaras, where shelter, hot meals (langar) and other assistance is being offered to all who may need it. Sikh taxi drivers are volunteering to drive people to their destinations safely, it said.
