October 2, 2015: 8:40 P.M. EST-Hurricane Joaquin remains in the Bahamas, heavy rain still expected to hit NYC.
October 2, 2015: 1:27 P.M. EST-Hurricane Joaquin is moving northward. It’s track and intensity remain relatively uncertain, although the likelihood of direct impacts of the storm reaching NYC have decreased significantly.
October 2, 2015: 10:49 A.M. EST-Hurricane Joaquin remains a Category 4 storm, continues to pass along the Bahamas. Landfall on U.S. East Coast unlikely, although East Coast states prepare for high winds and heavy rainfall.
