New Delhi: After the captivating workshop on Save the environment and the plantation drive held on Sept. 30, 08 at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Vasant Vihar as a part of Learning Values Series, the need to address the issues of the participants was felt and the second workshop in the series was organized on Oct. 17, 08 which incorporated a new methodology to resolve the issues faced by the students.

“The workshop was very attractive and educative. It was a very good way to make the children understand about saving environment. I think this workshop should be held in each and every school and everybody should attend it”, said Upinder Singh, one of the participants.

A format was developed and given to students in five groups and each group was asked to choose a spokesperson and also assign a name to the team. Eco Friendly Sikhs, Warriors, United Eco Friendly, Fantastic four, Famous five were the names suggested and employed by the teams. The scores were given on the name proposed and question being asked. The winning team was Team III, named United Eco Friendly. While Kawal Jit Singh of UNITED SIKHS set the tone for the occasion, Harsimran Singh, the UNITED SIKHS presenter, executed the same with his inimitable style.
