Press Release

Immediate Action Requested: Be a Voice for Your Community - Participate in the Global Sikh Civil Rights Survey

New York, NY, USA: In preparation for the second-annual Global Sikh Civil Rights Report, UNITED SIKHS has launched a survey to ascertain the state of the global Sikh nation, and urges all members of the international Sikh community to participate. The survey assists UNITED SIKHS in assessing the civil and human rights conditions in each country, information which, in turn, helps us to tailor our efforts to the most pressing concerns of the Sikh community throughout the globe. You can join in our mission to eradicate hatred and discrimination throughout the globe by participating in the survey. Click here to play your part.

Last year, our Global Sikh Civil Rights Report 2008 was the first of its kind to evaluate the civil and human rights challenges faced by Sikh community throughout the world. Through this evaluation, the challenges Sikhs face internationally were brought to light, illuminating how issues vary in severity from country to country, yet the overall themes of discrimination are the same. Help us tailor our advocacy initiatives for the greatest global impact by participating in the survey.
